Pistachio Shells Turtle Craft for Kids

August 4, 2018 By Kristy (Crafts 4 Toddlers) Leave a Comment

We love finding things around the house that we can craft into something new. A simple way to save on crafts is to use what you already have at home, even something like pistachio shells. Yep, you heard that right, you can make fun crafts using pistachio shells! For this pistachio shells turtle craft all you need is pistachio shells and some markers and you can make adorable little turtles. My daughter loved playing with these tiny imaginary “pets”. :)  Also, be sure to check out our fun list of turtle books for kids at the end of this post.

Pistachio Shells Turtle Craft Supplies Needed:

  • Pistachio Shells (with pistachio nut removed and cleaned)
  • Green and Black Markers (or paint)

Pistachio Shells Turtle Craft Instructions:

1. Grab some pistachio shells (after you’ve enjoyed some for a snack and cleaned them).

2. Color the whole pistachio green using a marker or paint. Then draw the lines and cute turtle face using a black marker.

3. That’s it! Enjoy your super cute little pistachio shell turtles!

We hope you love making these super cute little turtle pistachio shells craft, too!

I think it’s so fun that you can repurpose something like pistachio shells into something so cute! This is such a simple and fun craft and a great activity along with our recommended turtle books to introduce the letter “T” to preschoolers.
