Popsicle Stick Rocket Ship Craft for Kids

June 28, 2018 By Kristy (Crafts 4 Toddlers) Leave a Comment

I gave my kids some popsicle sticks and told them to use their imaginations to make something fun. One of my son’s came up with this popsicle stick rocket ship craft idea and I love it! He has been loving learning about space and this popsicle stick craft is the perfect addition to that.

Popsicle stick crafts are so simple and with this craft your kids will soon be shouting 3, 2, 1 blastoff! Be sure to check out all of the fun space books at the end of this post to go along with this fun craft for kids.

Popsicle Stick Rocket Ship for Kids Supplies Needed:

  • 11 Popsicle Sticks
  • Washable Glue
  • Washable Markers (we used blue, orange and red)
  • Washable Glitter Glue

Rocket Ship Craft Project Instructions:

1. Gather your supplies and they lay out how you would like your rocket ship to look. We used 11 popsicle sticks total. Glue them together.

2. Once your popsicle sticks are dry you can then color the rocket ship any colors that you like. (My son colored his rocket ship blue, red and orange for the “fire”).

3. Optional: You can then add some washable glitter glue to the “fire” part of the rocket to give it a nice shimmery look.

4. That’s it! Enjoy your new popsicle stick rocket craft and let your child’s imagination soar.

We hope you enjoy creating this Popsicle Stick Rocket Ship Craft as much as we did! Let us know if your child gives it a try too.
